Community Owned Resource Development

A group of 46 community organizations, leaders and entrepreneurs launched CORD in 2019 -- before COVID-19 and the BLM movement -- due to the mass displacement of Black businesses and families from Southeast Seattle.  With these events, the issues of not only stopping displacement but creating thriving economic communities led by people of of color is all the more at the forefront today.

In 2021 CORD is going to help launch a number of investment funds to buy local property and help BIPOC businesses.  If you want to become part of this exciting group sign up for the email newsletter to your right.  This email will go out every other week and update you on ways to get involved.
